Creating your own music at the piano can be discouraging if the beautiful music you imagine and hear in your head never reaches your fingers. For some pianists, even the thought of having to play the piano without any music in front of them makes their mouths dry out and their shoulders tense up.

I know these feelings because I used to experience them myself. It took me years of study and experimentation to reach a point where I knew I could instantly and easily re-create the music I hear in my head, confident it would sound good. After years of hearing people say to me, "I wish I could play like that," I've started helping other pianists freely express themselves at the piano.

Sitting down to play the piano should be a fun, relaxing, and creative way to channel your creative energy, not a frustrating encounter that leaves you feeling like a failure. Although in one sense, as they say, "there are no shortcuts," my courses will save you a lot of time and frustration as you develop and enhance your ability to create interesting and inspiring music at the piano.
